Four face down playing cards are displayed and each is shown to have the picture of a candle printed on its face, they are placed in a tabled pile - three are face down, while one is left face up. Picking them up, the magician claims that the face up candle has magically turned face down, the cards are spread and proved to be correct. The magician now, with a play on words, states that the 'Four Candles' are going to become 'Fork Handles' and indeed, the cards are turned up shown to have Fork Handles in place of the Four Candles.

 

Each card is clearly shown back and front, at the beginning and finish of the routine. Only basic sleights required, a great comical finish inspired by the famous Four Candle routine by the superb British comedy performers, Ronnie Barker & Ronnie Corbett (if you do not already know this sketch, check the link to watch the masters in action here)
