A thick rope about 30 inches long is uncoiled. The performer casually handles the rope and holds it stretched between the two hands, one hand is removed yet the rope remains stiff, suspended in mid air. A snap of the fingers and immediately the rope is once again soft and flexible. Lends itself ideally to patter stories about the famous 'Indian Rope Trick'.
