Classic Magic, by a Classy Magician - this is a pleasure to watch. Johnny Thompson was one of the most respected magicians of his generation, his in depth knowledge was second to none, and it comes across in droves during this lecture. The routines shown are classics, they're performed with minimum moves and maximum effect. During the explanations, Johnny gives us tips, he shows moves in detail, scholarly referring to their origin. Adding touches and finesse, his explanations are detailed. What's more, it's all done in his unique humorous style, one trick (Jokers Wild) even goes wrong, as you'd expect from the man who gave us 'The Great Tomsoni', but the explanation is pure magic. To finish he treats us to a full performance of his signature Egg Bag routine.
